This is a fun way to get school-age kids involved with Lydia's Place. Your youth group, beta club, team, small group, class at school, or bible study would love to participate in the Hope Drive. How does it work? I'd be happy to tell you. Register here first then... 1. Come to our kick-off event on Friday, March 31st, 6 pm - 7:30pm at Lydia's Place. Learn about Lydia's Place Games Laughter Pizza 2. Get everything you need to fundraise all month long Between March 31st and April 22nd, you can fundraise any way you like! Each participant will raise $200 in monthly donations 3. Attend our Wrap-Up Party on Saturday, April 22nd, too celebrate all we have accomplished. Oh, and something about awards :) (565 Jerry Smith Drive Unit #1 Watkinsville GA 30677) Award for raising the most recurring monthly donations: New HP Chromebook Award for raising the most money total: $145 In gift cards + 20 item shopping spree in our Boutique Award for the group that collectively raises the most money: 10 free passes to fun Athens activities and "The Big One" 52 slice pizza from Fox's Pizza. Some fun fundraiser ideas for you to try: Car wash, bake sale, field day event, kickball tournament, pie your youth minister (if you raise ## amount you'll pie your youth minister :D), or yard sale. I'm sure you have some good ideas too! Work on your own or with your group. There is so much fun to be had! Anyone can participate in this event - individuals and adults as well! Next year Habitat for Humanity will begin construction on Micah's Creek, a multi home community in Athens. Lydia's Place will receive fifteen, two bedroom bungalows that will almost triple our capacity! The money raised in this event will allow LP to expand the staff to care for 30 additional students.
